For those who identify as male, we recognize that there can be unique pressures, expectations, and stigmas surrounding emotional and mental wellbeing. Many men have been taught to carry responsibility, perform, provide, and push through discomfort, often with little support for navigating what is happening beneath the surface.

If you've found your way here, you may be experiencing overwhelm, emotional disconnection, difficulties in relationships, or challenges with intimacy and vulnerability. You may feel stuck in patterns that impact your wellbeing, your relationships, your work, or your ability to feel fully present in your life.

The truth is that struggles with emotional health, self-worth, and connection are not exclusive to any gender. As a somatic therapist, my role is to provide support that is tailored to your unique experiences, values, and goals.

A Somatic Approach to Men's Mental Health

Through somatic therapy, attachment-focused work, and nervous system support, we explore the emotional patterns, survival strategies, and protective behaviours that may be shaping your life and relationships.

Many of these patterns were not consciously chosen. They were learned through family systems, culture, relationships, and lived experience.

Together, we create space to better understand your emotional landscape, strengthen your capacity for connection, and develop a relationship with yourself that feels more grounded, authentic, and sustainable.

As emotional awareness grows, many men find they experience greater clarity, resilience, confidence, and alignment - not only within themselves, but also within their relationships, careers, and communities.

Over the years, Chanel has worked with hundreds of men from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, and supporting men's emotional wellbeing has become a meaningful area of specialization within her practice.

She brings a deep respect for the complexity of men's inner worlds and understands that many men's experiences are often misunderstood, oversimplified, or mislabeled. What may appear as emotional distance, avoidance, or disinterest is often connected to much deeper stories around safety, vulnerability, responsibility, and belonging.

Rather than focusing on what is "wrong," this work is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and understanding.

Chanel creates a space where emotional depth, sensitivity, and authenticity are welcomed - without judgment, shame, or pressure to be anything other than who you are.
